The Storytelling Company is building its first support team in Asia. We are hiring two Support Engineers in Singapore to provide remote, client-focused support for the hardware and software behind our immersive experiences.
You will handle AV, IT and software issues, work across time zones with Amsterdam and Charlotte, and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements in a growing team.
At The Storytelling Company, we build worlds people step into. A showroom, an experience center, a flight simulator. They’re very different places, but in each one there’s a moment when everything clicks and people feel something they didn’t expect. Behind that moment sits a lot of technology: AV systems, networks and our own software. When it all works, nobody notices. That’s the point.
Now we’re building our first support team in Asia: two people in Singapore, keeping those worlds running while Amsterdam sleeps.
As a Support Engineer at TSC, you provide remote, client-focused support for the hardware and software behind our experiences.
The main focus is Audio/Video (AV) systems and our own software platform. We’re hiring two Support Engineers in Singapore. You’ll be TSC’s first support team in the region, working closely with our colleagues in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Charlotte (United States).
The day starts at 06:00 SGT with a handover from Charlotte: open cases, next steps, evidence. You work through the queue, catch monitoring alerts before they become client calls, and maybe join a call with a local AV supplier to trace a signal problem at a site. A large part of your shift runs while Europe is offline, so you make the sensible calls yourself. By the time Amsterdam logs on, you hand over clear notes, and our clients’ day carries on as it should.
We’re open to different levels of experience: someone a few years into their support career, or a seasoned engineer who can become our Lead Support Engineer and set the standard for support in Singapore. You have some experience (and more importantly interest) with AV, and you’ll build more of it on the job.
This is the start of TSC in Asia. There’s no support playbook for the region yet, so you’ll help write it, from how shifts hand over to how we work with local suppliers. We’ll shape the roles around the people we find, and you’ll get to shape how the team grows from here.
You won’t be on your own. You’ll work hand in hand with our teams in Amsterdam and Charlotte, [and start with onboarding alongside the team in Amsterdam]. Between the three of us, someone is always looking after the worlds we’ve built.
If you like knowing why something broke, and you like being the person who quietly keeps it running, we’d like to hear from you.
Worlds worth entering stay open around the clock
The Storytelling Company is more than 180 people across Amsterdam, Zwaag, Berlin, Munich, and Charlotte.
We bring strategy, design, and technology together into experiences people can walk into, for global clients wherever they and their audiences are. A brand's experience center. A maritime simulator, accurate down to the last real parameter. An opera, an exhibition, a pop-up that wasn't there yesterday. Original worlds made to travel from one city to the next. Different scales, different briefs, one question underneath each of them: what does it feel like when this truly lands?
We work in close partnership with our clients and treat every project with the same care, for the people it reaches, the brands behind it, and the world around it. From the first idea to the last farewell note.
If any of that sounds like your kind of place, we'd like to meet you.
