Job description

Role :

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support (Desktop Support Engineer) to join our IT team.


In this role, you will provide first-line support to end users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktops, laptops, software, and peripherals.


The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide on-site support to end users, including hardware, software, network, and peripheral troubleshooting.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Support daily operations - Maintain and update IT asset records and ensure all equipment is tracked properly.
  • Assist in new user onboarding and off boarding processes, ensuring timely setup and deactivation of systems.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the system and contribute to internal knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal or external resources.
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies and security protocols.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a Desktop Support or similar IT support role.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and Active Directory.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Team player with a customer-centric attitude.
