The Supply Planning and Logistic Department (SP&L) in the Procurement Engineering & Electronics Manufacturing (P&EM) organization focuses on supply planning, managing inventory, and delivering externally produced products for The LEGO Group. The P&EM team sources, develops, and delivers a diversified portfolio of parts through a global third-party manufacturing network. SP&L focuses on supply planning, managing inventory, and delivering products.

The Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for executing daily supply planning tasks—such as order processing, delivery management, and non-product purchase oversight—to ensure optimal product availability and inventory performance. This role focuses on operational execution, working closely with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams to respond promptly to demand fluctuations and support smooth product launches.

Core Responsibilities

  • Planning/orders to suppliers, managing delivery to packaging sites, and reacting to the demand plan to maintain product availability and inventory performance.
  • Jointly review with suppliers to ensure enough capacity is reserved for product novelties and carryover products.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and suppliers to deliver a feasible launch plan through the product launch process.
  • Manage the service level of logistics service providers jointly with the global shipping network and logistics service procurement team.
  • Work on ECO (Engineering Change Order)/product evolution processes. Resolve supply risks during any transition periods.
  • Improve supply chain efficiency and productivity by challenging supply lead times, inventory, and total cost-to-deliver.
  • Manage non-product purchases from the LEGO Group to suppliers.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Relevant education in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operation Research or other related fields, or strong proven track record in Supply Chain Planning / Operations / Purchasing / Manufacturing management.
  • Min 2y experience in Planning / Procurement / Supply Chain.
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain Management, purchasing, constraints and productivities in manufacturing, capacity planning, inventory management and control and logistics.
  • Project management experience, proven track record in lean / deploying process improvement methodology in supply planning operation.
  • Strong team player, excellent communication skills and collaborating skills.
  • Strong understanding of ERP system (e.g. SAP).
  • Excellent analytical skills, doing spreadsheets and database management (e.g. MS Access, Excel, PowerBI, or other BI tools).

NICE TO HAVE

  • Previous experience working in an international company.
  • Proven skills and sound knowledge in remote / international supplier network management.
  • Adhere to new developments of ERP, Planning system (e.g. Kinaxis), process automations and data analytics (e.g. Python, Tableau).
