Responsible for planning processes within the segment (Advisory on plant based scheduling and raw material MRP). Drives E2E accountability for IBP Demand and Supply reviews and supply chain planning design and execution across Business Unit, including maintaining healthy inventory levels and execution of mitigating actions. Partners with Operations Management and PLM with the primary goal of balancing the competing objectives of maximising customer service, minimising supply chain costs & optimizing working capital.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute Global Planning activities by being the focal point of communication with the BU and Operations leads
Design, coordinate and publish periodic reports pertaining to forecast / Inventory and Operations relevant to current business requirements
First point of contact for escalations
Owns the Supply review meetings, enabling balancing of demand and supply by facilitating cross-functional adjustments
Track actions resulting from Supply review meetings, ensuring completion of prior tasks
•Partner with Operations to ensure capacity levels are managed in support of the consensus forecast
Mitigate and solve escalated issues to debottleneck supply chain operations
Analyze and agree Inventory targets at a global and plant level; Publish excess inventory reports
Monitoring and reporting on cross-functional KPIs to ensure effective IBP process
Work with Operations to optimize capacity utilization while meeting customer demand
Engage in NPI activities with Engineering / Sales and PLM to support speed to market initiatives
Measure, support and develop local entity planners
Ability to travel Globally
Skills Required:
Experience in E2E Supply Chain Management across both Supply Chain strategy and planning
Understanding of analytical capabilities to support/challenge unconstrained demand forecasts
Knowledge of production control systems, specifically SAP required
Minimum of a four year Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of related experience
APICS (American Production & Inventory Control) certification preferred. CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management) and CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certifications are desirable
Strong background in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning supply chain
Holds self and organization accountable for high quality results
Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., fostering trust, collaborating with colleagues in other organizations, managing conflict, empowering teams)
