A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Supply Chain Officer for a dynamic role within the logistics sector. The ideal candidate will manage daily shipment arrangements, engage in supplier and customer management, and perform cost analysis. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $3800 monthly and is ideal for those with a relevant diploma and 1-2 years of experience in logistics.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain or logistics.
  • Experience with Incoterms and overseas shipments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and negotiation with suppliers and customers.
  • Daily shipment arrangements including PO and SAP input.
  • Cost analysis for cargo and logistics.

Job description

Supply Chain Officer (5 days / $ 3800)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordination / Negotiation with internal & external parties (customers / supplier & freight forwarders etc)

  • Daily shipment arrangement (PO generating / sending, SAP input, Sailing schedule arrangement / Invoice & BL checking etc)

  • Supplier and customer management (Order backlog & Forecast management)

  • Cost Analysis (Awareness of cargo cost and logistics cost)

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior/Manager.

  • Diploma or equivalent

  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with Incoterm

  • Good experience with high volume of PO

  • Good experience with forwards for overseas shipments

Shipping Officer (5 days / $ 3200)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the efficient, timely and accurate preparation of shipping documents.

  • Ensures timely notification and dispatch of shipping documents to customers and logistic providers.

  • Check and process the freight billing from the logistic providers.

  • Maintenance of payment process to suppliers and insurance application.

  • To achieve visualization of Key Performance of the department's goal and objectives.

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior / Manager

  • GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent

  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience

  • Able to handle large volume of data

  • Good with Excel

  • 6 months contract role
