The ZEISS offices in Southeast Asia focus mainly on Medical Technology, Vision Care, and Industrial Quality Research business segments in the region.
We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our office in Singapore. More details about the role can be found below:
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly country demand review, collect qualitative inputs from markets, and analyze market trends and historical sales data to accurately forecast future demand for products.
- Drive consensus forecast across inter-functional teams (e.g., countries, business, demand, and financial).
- Ensure updated demand information in our forecast software for each market and continuous improvement to achieve and exceed forecast accuracy targets.
- Proactively identify potential changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact.
- Deploy and manage replenishment process and provide supply visibility to markets.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to meet sales demand and inventory replenishment at different locations while achieving inventory and service KPIs.
- Manage inventory levels across different locations to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing scrap risk.
- Monitor service level performance including Forecast Accuracy, identify improvement opportunities, and take appropriate actions.
- Maintain a close relationship with the sales, marketing, finance, and country supply chain teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers.
- Support Product Lifecycle project for the APAC region.
Candidate Profile:
Education / Professional Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in End-to-End supply chain.
- Proficient in demand forecasting and strong MRP, SAP preferred.
- Inventory management skills including cost savings, inventory reduction, and best practice.
- Preferred experience in the Medical device or similar industry.
- APICS certification preferred.
