A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager. This role involves planning and coordinating warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and managing a team to optimize operational efficiency. With extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, the ideal candidate will drive performance through effective leadership and communication.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:-
Plan, coordinate and execute all inbound and outbound warehouse operation activities.
Establish control measures to ensure operations efficiency and maximum profitability.
To monitor the accuracy of inventory levels, stock adjustments and ensure all transactions are complying with standard operating procedure.
Work closely with Customer Service Team to actively manage customer expectations.
Manage local transportation delivery performance and cost through agreed KPI / approved budget
Continuously monitor benchmarks and initiate action if limits are exceeded in order to control/ maintain the operations costs at acceptable operating levels.
Establish channels and procedures with customers to handle ad hoc shipments requirements and customer’s feedback or complaint.
Cost management and control.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Emphasizing on 5S.
Daily staff management which includes recruitment (when required), OJT, coaching, counselling, and performance appraisal.
Cycle count and Annual stock take.
Ensure operations are in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO13485 standards, GDP, GMP and HSA compliance.
Ensures 100% compliance to POD updating and COD submission to Finance and Principal.
Write new SOP, review, and make changes to the existing SOPs related to operations when required.
Competency Requirements:-
Minimum Diploma Holder or Degree holder.
Min 8 to 10 years of working experience in operation, logistics and supply chain management (3PL/4PL).
Min 5 years of working experience in a managerial role is an advantage.
Well-versed in Microsoft Office Applications
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience and knowledge in warehousing for FMCG, medical devices and pharmaceutical products.
Knowledge in warehouse management system and managing third party transporters.
Good presentation and negotiation skills.
Hands on knowledge in process and productivity improvement
Knowledge in lean concept and simulation program would be an added advantage.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of employees
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify opportunities for improvement.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and best practices related to the distribution of pharmaceutical and medical device products.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
