Warehouse Management and Operations
Manage and review production warehouse operations, standards, procedures including implementing and executing of warehouse solutions, in accordance with warehousing business, operational needs and audit requirements
Responsible for managing warehousing, inbound, outbound, inventory operations, including manpower and internal asset.
Planning of smooth end to end warehouse flow and processes from order initiation to receiving, handling, distributing and storage.
Resolve warehouse issue in a timely manner.
Ensure stacking, moving, and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans.
Inbound and Outbound Operations
Oversee inbound and outbound operations.
Ensure of the following :
Goods received are intact and check as per requirement
Timely update of SAP / WMS.
Proper handling, labelling for identification and storage of receiving goods.
Warehouse Assistant (WA) performs sample pick for Quality incoming inspection.
Timely issuance of raw materials to Factory warehouse.
All Orders (GRF, PWO, DO, PO) are processed timely.
Perform Cycle and Monthly stock count.
FIFO (First In First Out)is carried out for normal delivery.
FEFO (First Expire First Out) is carried out for export delivery or as per SCP instruction.
Drive Workplace Safety, Health (WSH)
Ensure a safe workplace in the warehouse adhering to WSH standards.
Ensure inventories are placed properly in the warehouse adhering to BRCGS standards.
Ensure the team members are competent in using the equipment.
Perform safety and health risk assessment.
Maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse. Perform warehouse operations in accordance with 5S (sort, set, shine, standardise, sustain) techniques.
Ensure corrective actions to address areas of non-conformance to WSH and BRCGS standards
To develop & monitor Food Safety Plan & to respond to any Food Safety issues for warehouse.
Efficiency
Monitor effectiveness of warehouse operations aimed to reduced operation cost.
Liaise and work closely with Quality Assurance department, Production department, Distribution centre and other relevant departments to solve outstanding problems and establish better coordination.
Manage production warehouse activities to ensure the resources are used effectively and the daily work schedules and target are met.
Escalate issue or difficulty to manager.
Maintain inventory accuracy
Ensure accuracy in daily transaction including Production work orders, Delivery orders and purchase order.
Ensure inventory stocks are align between SAP and WMS.
Adherence to timeline of month end closing.
Timely management of customers complaint due to delivery, order picking and stock management due to quality issues.
Manage and Develop Team Members
Manage resources and people processes (Staffing, cross-training) to ensure effective daily operations.
Coach team members and provide on-going feedback and support to improve performance.
Resolve individual and group performance issue in accordance with policies and procedures.
Any other responsibility (etc. Import and export arrangement) deem necessary to complete the role.
Our Dream Candidate:
Diploma in in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management.
Technical Skills - Proficiency in SAP Business One, WMS system. Strong knowledge of inventory management and distribution processes.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities to manage supply chain disruptions effectively.
Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability: Comfortable working under pressure and responding to dynamic operational challenges.
