A specialized tooling manufacturer in Singapore seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations. You'll manage supplier relationships, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with various teams. Ideal candidates have a degree in Mechanical, Precision, or Aerospace Engineering and at least 3 years of supply chain experience. We are looking for a detail-oriented and agile Supply Chain Manager / Assistant Manager to lead and manage our end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. This role requires strong agility, precision, and strategic oversight to support fast-changing production needs while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier management, procurement, inventory control, and driving continuous improvement across dynamic and complex supply chain processes.
Develop and implement supply chain and logistics strategies to support overall business goals.
Align supply chain activities with operational, financial, and production requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Manage key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure KPIs achieved for product compliance; on-time delivery and cost competitiveness.
Review approved vendor lists and lead internal and external audits process.
Organize and confirm all aspects of procurement, ensuring alignment with project and production schedules.
Well-versed in Inventory Management to support BOM list and warehousing management.
Ensure the logistics team maintains accurate inventory data and system updates.
Lead, supervise, and motivate the supply chain team to deliver high performance and continuous improvement.
Foster effective cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders including Engineering, Quality, Production, and Finance team.
Walk the production floor with engineering to understand materials requirement and process integration
Degree in Mechanical, Precision, or Aerospace Engineering with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, including vendor management and procurement.
Diploma in Mechanical, Precision, or Aerospace Engineering with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, including vendor management and procurement
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, sourcing, and supplier negotiation.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to collaborate across functions (Engineering, Quality, Production, etc.).
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
