Job description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our sourcing, supplier management, inventory, and supply planning activities across local and regional markets. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement and logistics support for our central kitchen operations, while improving end-to-end supply chain performance. Responsibilities

Procurement Operations

  • Lead full-cycle procurement activities: sourcing, negotiation, order planning, and vendor management.

  • Ensure timely purchasing of all materials (meat, ingredients, packaging, etc.) required by production.

  • Maintain vendor database, sourcing records, PO management and ensure contract compliance.

Sourcing & Supplier Development

  • Identify, assess, and onboard reliable suppliers for both local and overseas sourcing.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and performance KPIs especially cost competitiveness.

  • Explore new product/ingredient sourcing in collaboration with Marketing and R&D.

Quality Control & Inspection

  • Oversee QC checks for incoming goods, particularly raw meats (e.g., fat content, cut quality).

  • Define SOPs for procurement QC and ensure frontline execution by the Procurement Executive.

  • Coordinate with kitchen, operations, and QC teams on materials rejections or feedback.

Import/Export Logistics

  • Manage import documentation for meat/raw goods into Singapore and export shipments.

  • Ensure compliance with AVS regulations and liaise with relevant authorities or agencies.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory control by Date of Sale (DOS).Implement JIT (Just-In-Time) stock strategies and Kanban processes to reduce overstock/downtime.

Central Planning

  • Contribute to 5M capacity planning and Master Production Schedule (MPS).

  • Align purchasing/delivery with ERP systems (POs, WOs).

  • Drive for 100% OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery to internal stakeholders and customers.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance for invoicing, payment approvals, and cost control.

  • Collaborate with kitchen, ops, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production flow.

  • Support planning around stock levels, production volumes, and supply continuity.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, coach, and develop the Procurement Executive, delegating routine tasks and ensuring alignment with department goals.

  • Review team performance and identify areas for upskilling or process improvement.

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain procurement tracking sheets and dashboards using Excel / Google Sheets.

  • Submit regular reports on spend, supplier performance, and cost-saving measures.

  • Identify and implement procurement/SCM process enhancements or automation tools.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.

  • 10+ years of relevant procurement/supply chain experience; food production/FMCG preferred.

  • Proven track record in supplier negotiation, planning, and ERP system usage.

  • Familiarity with import/export compliance (AVS regulations a plus).

  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement frameworks is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • High proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.

  • Ability to lead junior team members and manage cross-functional projects.
