Job summary

A leading company in supply chain management is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations, coordinate procurement, and analyze trends. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma in Supply Chain Management and have at least three years of experience in a similar role. You will play a vital role in enhancing inventory processes and supporting ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in inventory or supply chain roles.
  • Experience with inventory management software preferred.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

️ Inventory Management
  • Oversee inventory of equipment, spare parts, and materials for overseas operations.

  • Coordinate bi-annual stock takes and maintain inventory tracking in the Autocount system.

  • Ensure accurate records of stock transfers, receipts, and spare parts inventory.

Procurement Coordination
  • Liaise with procurement on new part purchases.

  • Verify purchase documentation and ensure accurate importation of goods to overseas locations.

Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and submit monthly inventory reports (e.g., goods in transit, inventory status, prepayments).

  • Analyze inventory trends and provide actionable insights to management.

Recordkeeping & Discrepancy Resolution
  • Maintain proper filing systems for inventory-related documentation.

  • Collaborate with local staff to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Process Improvement & Projects
  • Identify weaknesses in existing inventory processes and propose improvements.

  • Support and manage ad-hoc projects as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in inventory or supply chain roles.

  • Experience with inventory management systems, especially Autocount, is preferred.

  • Background in international logistics and inventory tracking is advantageous.
