A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Officer. You will be responsible for sourcing General Goods and Services, managing a Lab Supply Store, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics and possesses strong communication and organizational skills. This role is a full-time, 6-month contract position.

Procurement:
Perform sourcing for the General Goods and Services (GGS) category
Administer quotations and review procurement documents
Participate in the evaluation of bids to ensure that bids are evaluated fairly, prepare recommendation reports for approval, and award the bids in consultation with users
Perform procurement transactions in the e-procurement portal (i.e. publication, bid download, award, PO creation, goods receipt) to meet service levels
Point of contact between users and other specialist departments, such as Legal and Finance
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Senior Procurement Manager
Lab Supply Store:
Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Motivate the team to meet objectives by training and mentoring staff.
Work with the Procurement Head on business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop and arrange stock and in-store displays.
Undertake store administration duties such as managing the store, inventory, budgets and deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels and order new items
Ensure all operations are conducted within recognised industry health and safety regulations
Conduct a stock take and manage an audit to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
At least a Diploma, preferable in Supply Chain or Logistics
Good written and oral communication due to the requirement to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders independently or with guidance
Possess good work attitude, meticulous, responsible and strong follow-through
Good organizing and management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Excel, pivot table, words.
Preferably have prior knowledge and had worked on Ariba system.
