A leading company in oil and gas is seeking an Operations Executive to manage logistics coordination and support daily operations in a manufacturing setting. Job description

Job Description - Operations Executive

Responsibilities:

  1. Operations & Logistics Coordination

    • Assist in the day-to-day operation flow in our manufacturing facility to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery of finished products

    • Support the team with order processing, logistics management and assist in daily office needs

    • Engage in production planning and scheduling of raw materials

    • Prepare procurements of supplies as required, and handle a variety of administrative tasks

    • Manage and conduct forecasting for inventory control levels to ensure stock accuracy and quality of bin locations in both pick and bulk locations

    • Engage internal stakeholders to review and improve current operational processes

  2. Inbound & Outbound Shipments

  • Coordinate (inbound/outbound) shipments with our production and warehouse team, freight forwarders, local & overseas clients

  • Prepare full set of sea freight shipping documentation (import/export) including Manual Invoices, Packing lists, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Form D/E etc

  • Resolve any delivery / QC / shipment issues and provide good customer service to local and overseas clients

  • Perform any other work related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate superior

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain management or related discipline / GCE ‘A’ Level or equivalent

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in Supply Chain Management / Procurement & Logistics; Suitable candidates with more than 3 years of relevant experience will be considered for a senior role

  • Experience with an ERP software and/or Letter of Credit will be an advantage

  • Looking for a self motivated team player with good communication, problem solving and computer literacy skills
