Job description

The Supply Chain Excellence Manager is integral to the Regional Supply Chain organization, driving projects, standardization, continuous improvement, and business reviews. This role is essential for enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.

Scope of Responsibilities: The role encompasses end-to-end supply chain initiatives, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring cohesive and efficient supply chain operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Collaboration:

1. Collaborates with Regional Supply Chain leaders to translate strategy, vision, and long-term goals into actionable plans.
2. Facilitates monthly business reviews between affiliates and upstream supply chain functions through collaborative efforts.

Continuous Improvement:

1. Drives a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of Supply Chain.
2. Supports Area Supply Chain to identify productivity and cost improvement opportunities, to drive gross margin improvement initiatives.
3. Creates and aligns business case with cross-functional teams.
4. Assesses business environment, dynamics, and customer requirements to better align internal processes to improve customer experience.

Project Management:

1. Leads key supply chain projects, clearly defining project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables.
2. Executes and tracks project progress, identifies risks, develops mitigation plans, and ensures on-time completion.
3. Communicates project status, highlights associated risks, and provides contingency plans to stakeholders, sponsors, and leadership.

Requirements:

1. 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Management within the Nutrition/Healthcare/Pharma industry.
2. Experience in supply chain.
3. Experience in project management, people management, and change management.
4. Experience with facilitating business reviews/S&OP is preferred.
5. Strong leadership/influencing skills and a track record of driving projects to successful completion, even when operating in matrix organizations with different support groups with potentially conflicting objectives.
6. Practical knowledge and experience with CI tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, JI, DMAIC, and similar tools and methods are preferred.
7. Strong communication skills.
8. PC skills (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
