Overview

The Supply Chain Distribution Leader is responsible for leading and guiding the operators in storing finished products and dispatching customer orders for designated Asia Pacific countries from the distribution centre (SADC).

Responsibilities

1. Lead and guide operators in their daily tasks
2. Execute daily operations in accordance to the SOPs
3. Maintain safety procedures and monitor team performance on the task
4. Perform all tasks relating to inbound, storage and outbound of Cook products
5. Picking orders
6. Scanning orders and checking quantities
7. Tallying / Packing orders
8. Putting orders through courier computers
9. Inwards goods receiving
10. Enter inventory into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
11. Label and pack the items picked to meet customer requirements
12. Ensure on-time delivery to customers
13. Upkeep and maintain materials handling equipment (MHE)
14. Comply with safety regulations and security measures for warehouse operations
15. Check overseas orders received
16. Responsible for storage after inspection
17. Regular execution of cycle count and stock take activities
18. Resolve Inventory Discrepancies immediately
19. Distribution Centre Consumable Management
20. Carry out housekeeping duties
21. Prepare daily reports and raise issues that happened
22. Oversee the security and safety regulation and implementation for the Distribution Centre
23. Support the implementation of QMS (Quality Management System), ensure compliance and maintain its effectiveness
24. Other duties may be directed from time to time

Qualifications

1. NITEC or Diploma holders
2. Preferably with Professional Certification in Logistics / Supply Chain / Warehousing
3. 2-3 years experience in a warehousing environment
4. Able to operate reach truck / order picker
5. Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management System
6. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word / Excel)
7. Good command of written and spoken English
8. Sense of urgency and meticulous, positive mindset and good team player
9. Physically fit to operate the given task
10. Able to lead staff and work independently
11. Able to commit after working hours to support business when required
