Job Descriptions

  • Coordinate and manage the transition of parts between suppliers, manufacturing sites, or product lines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, quality, production) to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Track and monitor progress of part qualification, tooling readiness, and documentation updates.
  • Communicate status updates, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure all required documentation (e.g., drawings, BOMs, work instructions) is reviewed and updated.
  • Support first article inspection (FAI), PPAP, or other part approval processes as required.
  • Facilitate change management activities including ECNs and deviation approvals.
  • Coordinate inventory planning, phase-in / phase-out strategies, and last-time buy activities.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving part availability issues during the transition.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements during part transitions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or project coordination.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of part transitions, qualification processes, and tooling readiness.
  • Experience with documentation updates (drawings, BOMs, work instructions).
  • Familiarity with FAI, PPAP, ECNs, and change management processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage inventory planning and part availability issues.
  • Understanding of regulatory and customer compliance requirements.
