Job summary

Lactalis Group in Singapore invites a Supply Chain and Customer Service Assistant Intern to support order flow, distributor liaison, and project work within a dynamic team. You will help manage orders through validation and invoicing, track shipments, and respond to enquiries, while collaborating with sales, logistics, and quality teams.

The role offers exposure to international supply chain operations, with a focus on improving processes and gaining hands-on experience in a multinational dairy

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master’s degree in supply chain management or international business.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) are essential.
• Fluent in English and able to work with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders from validation to invoicing and monitor incoterms.
• Interface with distributors, track orders, respond to requests and communicate delays.
• Assist SCM Manager on new projects, liaise with sales, logistics, international flows and 3PLs.
• Weekly stock and risk reporting and contribute to updating procedures.

Created in 1999, Lactalis International strongly develops the positions of the Lactalis Group in Asia, Africa, the French overseas departments and territories and the Middle East.

Each year, more than 8,000 containers are exported by Lactalis International to more than 100 countries.

Based in Singapore within our subsidiary, you will be involved in the development of our Supply Chain business and will have the following tasks:

• Management of orders, from order validation to invoicing, all incoterms combined & verification of import documents and monitoring of vessel bookings;
• Customer interface: key role in supporting distributors, tracking orders and responding to requests, communicating factory delays and shutdowns, export and quality documentation;
• Assisting the Supply Chain Manager with new projects and launches. Contact with the various departments (sales, logistics, international flows, marketing, quality) and external logistics contacts (3PL, forwarding agents);
• Weekly reporting and analysis of stocks and risks of shortages;
• Involvement in updating and improving existing procedures

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. Remuneration will be 1800 SGD/month plus monthly allowances of 50.00 SGD for transport and 25.00 SGD for telephone. This internship is for 6 months from January 4th, 2027.

If you're studying for a master’s degree in supply chain management or international business degree, you're looking for an internship that will enable you to develop your expertise in this field. to develop your expertise in this field. Ideally, you will have some initial experience of an internship in an export department / sales administrator.

You are familiar with export techniques, particularly incoterms.

You are fluent in English. A good command of Excel is essential (V look-up, pivot tables, etc.)

After an initial telephone interview, you will meet your future Manager and the Country Manager.
