Job summary

Flex is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst in Singapore (Kallang) to support sourcing, pricing and cost-of-ownership initiatives. This role is based in Singapore and collaborates with procurement, suppliers and customers to add value and reliability, aligned with Flex’s global supply chain strategies.

You will participate in building cost reduction programs, driving pricing strategies and managing supplier relationships to ensure competitive and reliable supply.

Qualifications

• Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in procurement or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
• Interfaces with customers or suppliers for new project start-ups and cost of ownership issues.
• Develops and guides implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
• Manages component cost/price on local, regional and global bases.
• Tracks materials financial performance and initiates corrective actions.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst located in Kallang, Singapore.

What a typical day looks like

• Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
• Presents materials value-add to customers or suppliers, and influence customer to use Flex preferred suppliers.
• Interfaces with customer or supplier in new project start-up, for cost of ownership issues.
• Develops and guides implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
• Manages component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis.
• Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
• Defines and implements pricing and costing strategies.
• Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.
• Develop and implement cost take down strategies.
• Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Possesses a Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in the related field is required
