Seagate invites an enthusiastic Data Analytics/SQE intern to digitize inspection data and build dashboards for incoming quality, SAH monitoring, and supplier performance metrics at our Woodlands, Singapore site.
You will collaborate with SQE, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement to improve data accuracy, reporting discipline, and management visibility while gaining hands-on experience with Power BI and Excel.
Supplier Quality Engineering Intern, Data Analytics
Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) supports supplier qualification, incoming material quality, supplier performance monitoring, and risk management for critical materials used in recording media operations (RMO). The team works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and global suppliers to ensure material quality, qualification readiness, and supply continuity. This intern role offers a unique opportunity to help digitize SQE inspection and monitoring data, analyze quality trends and supplier signals, and develop automated trigger systems with timely notifications to the responsible Supplier Quality team for faster follow-up, escalation, and decision‑making.
As an SQE Intern, you will work closely with Supplier Quality Engineers to digitize inspection data and build dashboards for incoming quality, SAH monitoring, supplier performance metrics, and qualification status tracking.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, analytical, and self‑motivated intern who is comfortable working with engineering data, digital tools, and cross‑functional teams.
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
