Job description

Our client iscurrently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) in the oil and gas industry. The SQE will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services provided by suppliers meet the necessary quality standards and comply with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform supplier evaluations, audits, and inspections to identify and resolve any issues related to quality
• Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions and preventative measures to improve quality and reduce defects
• Review and approve supplier quality plans, procedures, and documentation
• Review and approve supplier test reports, certifications, and other quality-related documents
• Investigate and resolve quality issues and complaints related to supplier products and services
• Maintain and update supplier quality records, and act as a liaison between suppliers and the company
• Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and ensure that suppliers comply with these requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, with experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
• Strong understanding of the procurement process and experience in supplier management
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
