Agilent Technologies Singapore (International) Pte Ltd is seeking a Materials Engineer to manage assigned commodities and collaborate with internal teams and global suppliers. You will ensure timely, compliant, cost-effective raw materials for production and work across procurement, manufacturing, R&D, logistics, and production teams to optimize quality and delivery.

You will lead cost-saving initiatives, support NPIs, and drive ongoing improvements in material quality and supplier performance

Qualifikationen

• ,Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials or Mechanical or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Materials Engineering or related engineering roles

Aufgaben

• Managing Supplier Quality Performance (TQRDC, SCARS, PCNs, material disruption management)
• Drive field defects reduction with cross-functional teams (DPPM reduction, DEFOA analysis, reliability improvements)
• Reduce Production Non-Conformance Material (CI initiatives; defect type analysis)
• Mitigate supply challenges (shortages, EOL, tariff)
• Lead annual material cost savings initiatives (VAVE)
• Act as Commodity/Subject Matter Expert for NPIs (design/material choices, manufacturability)
• Lead capacity expansion at suppliers; BOM setup for NPI; LLM sourcing for NPI; new capability exploration
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards with Compliance Engineering
• Coordinate with suppliers to clarify specs for quality, cost, manufacturability
• Transfer manufacturing sites (Outsourcing, Insourcing)
• Asset management of Agilent’s assets at suppliers
