The role involves driving supply chain excellence by forging strategic suplier partnerships, delivering market insights, and accelerating sales growth in the global electronics components sector.

Responsibilities:
Supplier Strategy & Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers (e.g., franchise distributors).
  • Negotiate competitive pricing, parts access, and industry insights.
  • Advise on supplier capabilities, risks, and performance improvements.

Market & Competitive Insights

  • Analyse trends, pricing, and availability to guide sourcing/sales strategies.
  • Serve as the global expert for assigned manufacturers.
  • Produce weekly/monthly market reports to inform business decisions.
  • Identify and deliver daily/weekly sales opportunities with favorable terms.
  • Advise on customer pricing strategies and drive quarterly revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales/Sourcing to optimize deal execution.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Global Commodity Management and Sales teams to align supplier and business goals.
  • Train internal teams on market dynamics and supplier opportunities.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 to 15 years experience in electronics components industry (semiconductors/board-level ICs focus).
  • Track record of relationships with suppliers and franchise distributors.
  • Mandarin fluency is essential for daily communication with customer and suppliers in China.
  • In-depth knowledge of parts and manufacturers and other board level ICs and semiconductors.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize market information into actionable strategies, market reports, and internal training materials.
