Job summary

BorgWarner in Singapore seeks an SAP Specialist to optimize PP, MM, SD and LE modules and provide system support to plant end-users and suppliers across the Asia Pacific region. You will serve as a SAP Power User, driving testing, configuration, and issue resolution along with cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead system testing, support project implementations, coordinate supplier EDI certifications, and train users on new SAP functionalities, ensuring alignment with business processes

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP MM/PP/SD/LE modules in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of EDI connectivity and supplier integration processes.
• Proven ability to lead system testing and project implementations.

Responsibilities

• Optimize SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) modules.
• Serve as SAP Technical Expert (Power User) ensuring prompt identification and resolution of application issues.
• Support system testing and project implementation to meet business requirements.
• Assist internal stakeholders and external customers with EDI connectivity for order and forecast transmission.
• Act as Plant Lead for SAP Warehouse Management System operations and ongoing system support.
• Lead and coordinate supplier EDI certification activities for the plant.
• Liaise with and train suppliers on forecasting process and business requirements.
• Liaise with supplier to establish and maintain EDI connections and integrations.
• Train internal users in new SAP functionalities and implementations.
• Serve as the SAP Subject Matter expert to the business
• Support business process mapping, system integration
• Act as key person in supporting PC&L business process audits and compliance requirements

This role will play a key role in optimizing SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) modules, and provide systems support and guidance to plant end-users and suppliers, both locally as well as the Asia Pacific region.
