Job description

As a Supervisor Inbound located in Talegaon Mendhewadi, Pune, you will utilize your 23 years of experience in warehousing and inbound logistics to effectively oversee daily inbound operations. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising activities such as receiving, unloading, inspection, Goods Receipt Note (GRN) entry, and putaway processes. It will be crucial for you to ensure the accurate processing of GRNs in the ERP/Warehouse Management System (WMS), specifically in systems like SAP.In this role, you will be tasked with assigning and monitoring the activities of the inbound team to ensure productivity and quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met. Collaboration with the warehouse, procurement, and inventory teams will be essential to address and resolve any discrepancies that may arise during inbound operations.To excel in this position, you should possess a strong understanding of GRN processes, putaway procedures, and other core inbound processes. Basic knowledge of SAP (MM module) or other ERPs for inbound and inventory control navigation is required. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and barcode scanning will also be beneficial in executing your duties effectively. Your ability to interpret and act upon inbound process data and reports will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency.With 23 years of hands-on experience in warehousing and inbound logistics, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity, you have developed the necessary skills to coordinate with stakeholders for a seamless inbound flow. Your leadership capabilities and experience in managing inbound operations will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of the inbound processes.In summary, as a Supervisor Inbound, your role will revolve around overseeing inbound operations, ensuring accurate GRN processing, coordinating team activities, and collaborating with various departments to maintain operational efficiency.
