Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a talented Technician Operations Manager to oversee maintenance and renovation in the hospital. This role involves managing projects, coordinating with staff and contractors, and ensuring operations run smoothly in the absence of the Plant Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in M&E works and demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 to 5 years experience in M&E works.
• 2 to 3 years experience in supervisory roles is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate confidently with various stakeholders.

Job description

The Role: Managing the operations of technician and monitor their performance in ensuring both PPM and corrective action are done effectively accordingly to plan.
Key Accountabilities:
• Oversee renovation and upgrading projects in the hospital
• Supervise and co-ordinate directly with all employees who are engaged in the renovation, repair and maintenance, additions and alterations to the hospital’s physical plant.
• Cover the duties and responsibilities of the Plant Operations Manager during his absence.
• Perform administrative matters
• PPM schedule, checklist and R&M works are completed according to schedule.
• Able to perform a facilitator role managing renovation, repair and maintenance and coordinate with contractor to reach utmost desirable result and completion within timeline.
• Evidence showing a leadership role in managing both project works and operation and show no sign of hospital operations impact in the absence of Plant Operations Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum qualification required in NTC 2 or Higher NITEC and above
• OR as equivalent to
• Minimum 4 or 5 years working experiences in M&E works and related field associated to building associated in building services.
• Minimum 2 or 3 years’ experiences in supervisory role an advantage
Other Requirements:
• A good personality that is able to communicate confidently with patient, doctor & other stakeholders in responding to query, feedback or complaint related to plant operations matter and hospital operations.

Mon – Fri: 8:30am - 5:45pm
