Qualifications

• Preferably 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Basic knowledge of reading and understanding manufacturing drawings.
• Understanding of 7QC tools, FMEA, and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing processes with Operations and Quality teams.
• Update documents with the Global Engineering team.
• Lead a team of Process Techs and manage shift rotations.

How You Will Help Us Connect The World

• Responsible for improving the manufacturing process, working with Operations and Quality teams to understand and resolve issues.
• Work with the Global Engineering team on updating documents.
• Design required tools/fixtures.
• Define/modify processes online.
• Troubleshoot issues and attend to line escalations in a timely manner.
• Manage tool crib.
• Lead a team of Process Techs and manage shift rotations.

Required Qualifications For Consideration

• Bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics, ETC Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with preferably 8-10 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of reading and understanding manufacturing drawings.
• Fiber cable and fiber termination knowledge.
• Knowledge of 7QC tools, FMEA, and control plans.
• Team management experience.

You Will Excite Us If You Have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Basic skills in AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
• Demonstrated competencies in physical, mental, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with personnel of various levels and disciplines.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders on complex issues.
