Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Accounts Supervisor to oversee our accounting operations. This role involves managing all aspects of the accounting function, supervising a small team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Accounts Supervisor will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

Team Supervision:Supervise and mentor two accounting staff members, providing guidance and support.
Delegate tasks and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development.

Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements.
Prepare and submit tax filings and other statutory reports.
Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.

Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline operations.

Strategic Support:Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and management team.
Assist in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Support special projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in the construction or interior design industry is a plus.
