Job summary

KANDENKO COOLING SYSTEM PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced on-site supervisor to manage daily construction activities, interpret drawings, and coordinate subcontractors and trades.

The role requires practical site experience, strong leadership, and a safety-first approach to ensure project schedules and quality standards are met. You will oversee resources, maintain daily records, assist in billing documentation, and act as a liaison between engineers, managers, and workers, ensuring work aligns

Qualifications

• Practical on-site construction experience is essential.
• Relevant certification: Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring daily work progress to ensure compliance with project schedules and methods.
• Enforcing workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring a safe environment.
• Organizing subcontractors, vendors, and resources to prevent delays.
• Interpreting blueprints and construction drawings, conducting inspections, and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Updating site reports, daily records, and providing data for, or assisting with, project invoicing and progress claims.
• Ensuring materials and equipment are available and used efficiently on site.
• Overseeing daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and worker teams to ensure smooth progress.
• Enforcing strict safety protocols, maintaining EHS standards, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Monitoring construction progress against schedules, updating daily/weekly work reports, and reporting to engineers or managers.
• Interpreting blueprints and drawings, conducting site surveys, and ensuring work methods adhere to technical specifications
• Managing materials and equipment, and ensuring site housekeeping
• Performing site measurements, maintaining records, and assisting in documentation for billing
• Strong communication and leadership skills to lead worker teams
• Act as the link between engineers, project managers, and workers
• Coordinate different trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, structural)
• Attend site meetings and brief workers on tasks
• Relevant certifications such as the Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course.
