Job summary

SAELOUN SIJAG @ SPA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to support the Operations Manager in daily activities and manage cleaning staff. You will train, instruct, and supervise team members to keep assigned areas clean and hygienic for the public.

The role requires standing for long periods, teamwork, and strong problem-solving skills, with flexibility for weekend and public holiday shifts. Health and safety compliance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in daily running and management.
• Supervise cleaning staff, including training and instructing.
• Undertake cleaning of designated areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure staff work adheres to health and safety requirements.
• Perform cleaning, sweeping and vacuuming; empty bins.
• Follow health and safety regulations and take necessary precautions.
• Report dangerous situations or health and safety shortcomings to supervisor.

Job description

1. Responsible in assisting the Operations Manager in daily running and management;

2. To supervise the activities carried out by the Cleaning Staff which will include training, instructing and managing work flow;

3. To undertake, as a part of the team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept clean and hygienic for the public;

4. To ensure all work carried out by the Cleaning Staff is on par with the upholding requirement; completed with due observation to the appropriate Health & Safety requirements;

5. Cleaning, sweeping and vacuuming, emptying of bins;

6. To ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and the staff is taking extra precautions in causing anything that might endanger the post holder or others;

7. Daily report to the line manager, or person in authority any dangerous situation in the workplace or any perceived shortcomings in health and safety regulations.
