Job summary

Style Fashion Salon in Singapore is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to support the Operations Manager in daily running, oversee Cleaning Staff, and ensure hygiene standards across the premises. You will train and instruct the team, supervise cleaning duties, monitor health and safety compliance, and report any hazards to management.

This role requires weekend and public holiday availability, standing for long periods, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in daily running and management.
• Supervise Cleaning Staff, including training and workflow management.
• Contribute to cleaning designated areas to keep them hygienic for the public.
• Ensure cleaning meets health and safety requirements.
• Clean, sweep, vacuum, and empty bins as part of duties.
• Follow health and safety regulations and take extra precautions.
• Submit daily reports to supervisor on hazards or safety concerns.

Job description

1. 1. Responsible in assisting the Operations Manager in daily running and management;
2. 2. To supervise the activities carried out by the Cleaning Staff which will include training, instructing and managing work flow;
3. 3. To undertake, as a part of the team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept clean and hygienic for the public;
4. 4. To ensure all work carried out by the Cleaning Staff is on par with the upholding requirement; completed with due observation to the appropriate Health & Safety requirements;
5. 5. Cleaning, sweeping and vacuuming, emptying of bins;
6. 6. To ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and the staff is taking extra precautions in causing anything that might endanger the post holder or others;
7. 7. Daily report to the line manager, or person in authority any dangerous situation in the workplace or any perceived shortcomings in health and safety regulations.
