Job summary

Sgd Construction and Engineering in Singapore is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead site teams and ensure project milestones are met safely and on schedule. You will coordinate workflows, train staff, monitor performance, and maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations across all sites.

The role requires clear communication with architects, vendors and inspectors, plus the ability to manage holidays, night shifts and urgent issues while upholding company policies and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years proven experience as supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
2. Monitoring construction processes, and providing training and team building sessions are required .
3. Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
4. Performing equipment material and routine site inspections.
5. Scheduling regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors managers and staffs.
6. Working closely with architects and other professionals.
7. Staying up to date with safety codes and advancements in construction.
8. Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staffs.
9. Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates.
10. Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
11. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
12. Receive complaints and resolve problems
13. Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
14. Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
15. Prepare and submit performance reports
16. Decide on reward and promotion based on performance

18. Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
