Job summary

A leading company in railway operations is seeking a qualified individual for a managerial role in track access management. The successful candidate will oversee site operations, ensure safety compliance, and manage training modules. With a degree in E&M Engineering and a background in railway operations, you will play a critical role in maintaining efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in railway operation environment is preferred.
• Possess Class 3 or 4 local driving license is advantageous.

• Lead day-to-day site operations and manage safety audits.
• Assist in documentation and presentations for the department.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage the track access system and the publication of the weekly notice for restricted area access.

• Chair Weekly Coordination Meeting with Clients and Contractors for Track Access Request.

• Manage the training modules ensuring the staff, Maintenance Contractors, Workshop and Defined Area Tracks users are competence to carry out their works safely.

• Responsible to lead and manage the Assistant Superintendent on the day-to-day site operation, supervising and auditing of site operation and safety on site.

• Assist Head of department to conduct presentation, draft management paper, tender document, manage clients’ request on plantroom/workshop equipment usage, field devices installation along the test track, etc.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of department such as review safety/ operation document, submit method statement, report, etc.

• Manage work group or contractors for building services/ structure maintenance works, core system (Signaling/ Comms/ Control) maintenance works, etc. on site.

• Able to support oversea assignment if necessary.

Who we are looking for:

• Local Degree Certification in E&M Engineering discipline working in railway operation environment.

• Candidate with railway operation, train testing and commissioning work experiences would be an advantage.

• Training will be provided to successful candidate to perform the railway operation duties.

• Will Knowledge of Microsoft Office application for report submission and presentation.

• Self-motivated and able to be crossed trained and keen to learn new skills.

• Able to lead and take charge of a team of work group.

• Possess a relevant Class 3 or 4 local driving license would be an advantage.
