Job summary

RecruitFirst is seeking a Broadcast Technician to operate and monitor broadcast systems for live sports and horse racing programmes at our Central Singapore facility. You will ensure smooth live transmissions and manage feeds, audio, and graphics.

Role requires 2 years of relevant experience, a broadcasting-related Diploma, and flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays. AWS, VB, and shift allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent with broadcasting experience.
• 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor broadcast systems and studio equipment to ensure smooth live broadcasts.
• Manage scheduled race feeds, programme line-ups, and other broadcast content to ensure timely playout.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during broadcasts.
• Monitor video and audio quality and maintain broadcasting equipment.
• Perform media ingest, content management, archiving, and file transfers according to SOPs.
• Handle live switching of video, audio, and graphics during broadcasts.
• Provide graphics and basic editing support for live horse racing and lottery draw programmes.
• Act as the first point of response for any broadcast disruptions and implement contingency measures when required.
• Support overall Broadcasting Operations and perform other assigned duties.

Location: Central (Near Rochor)

Working Hours: Shift hours, 5 days a week, 8.00am-5.00pm/2.30pm-11.30pm/7.30pm-4.30am

Salary: $3000 - $3800 monthly basic + AWS + VB + shift allowance

Shift allowance:

• $12/shift for shifts ending past 9.00pm
• $30/shift for shifts ending past 12.00am

Requirements

• At least a Diploma in Mass Communications, Film, Sound and Video, Film Production, relevant certifications, and/or strong industry experience in studio broadcasting.
• 2 years of relevant working experience in live sports transmission, television production or media operations.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
• Able to work rotating shift hours, including weekends and PH, to provide 24/7 support.
