Summary
As part of expansion, this role grows student enrolments from China through targeted outreach, counselling and partner management. Engage prospective students and Recruitment Agents, and guide applicants from enquiry to enrolment.
Key responsibilities
- Grow qualified leads and conversions from Mandarin‑speaking markets via digital and selected offline outreach such as webinars, fairs and school visits.
- Counsel prospective students on programmes, entry requirements, fees and admissions, then follow through to application and enrolment.
- Build and support relationships with Recruitment Agents across China, including enablement, training and co‑marketing.
- Plan and run campaigns on channels popular with Mandarin‑speaking audiences such as WeChat, Xiaohongshu and Douyin, plus suitable local channels.
- Maintain accurate records, pipeline tracking and reporting using ERPNext and CRM workflows.
- Coordinate weekend events and live sessions on a rostered basis, with time off in lieu.
- Uphold PDPA‑aligned data handling and apply objective, job‑related selection criteria consistent with the Tripartite Guidelines.
- Contribute feedback to improve FAQs, messaging and the applicant experience.
Requirements
- Ability to speak and write Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking students, parents and partners, and to create and review Mandarin content for campaigns and counselling. English proficiency is required for internal collaboration and documentation.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in student recruitment, admissions, education sales or a closely related field with clear conversion achievements.
- Familiar with EduTrust requirements and SSG processes preferred.
- Competent with social platforms and messaging tools, including WeChat or Xiaohongshu.
- Comfortable presenting to groups online and in person.
- Strong follow‑through, organisation and use of spreadsheets or CRM.
- Willing to work selected weekends based on an advance roster, with time off in lieu.
