A leading company specializing in student affairs is seeking an administrative assistant dedicated to managing student conduct cases. Responsibilities include organizing case files, taking notes during hearings, and providing support to the Student Conduct Unit. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills and experience in higher education settings. This role offers an opportunity to contribute positively to student affairs in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of student conduct cases from initiation through resolution.
Take accurate and detailed notes during disciplinary hearings and meetings.
Organize and maintain student conduct case files and documentation.
Draft correspondence and prepare reports related to student conduct matters.
Provide administrative support to the Student Conduct Unit, including scheduling hearings, managing communications, and handling inquiries.
Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Assist in the preparation of evidence and materials for hearings.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or as required by the Student Development Division.
Requirements:
Strong note-taking skills with the ability to capture key points accurately and efficiently during hearings.
Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in a higher education or student affairs setting, is an advantage.
Familiarity with local laws and regulations regarding student conduct and disciplinary procedures will be a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, staff, and external parties.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and case management software.
Experience in event management will be advantageous.
