Job summary

An educational organization in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to supervise and guide P1 – P6 students on their homework and academic activities. Responsibilities include maintaining discipline and safety, planning festive events, and communicating with parents about their child's progress. Candidates should have at least a GCE 'O' Level and a passion for teaching. This part-time role operates Monday to Friday from 12.30pm to 6.30pm.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle English, Chinese, Mathematics, and Science subjects is an advantage.
  • Retired teachers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide daily homework and testing of spellings for P1 – P6 students.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and guidance on daily school homework and testing of spellings for P1 – P6 students

  • Maintain order and discipline in the Centre and ensure students’ safety and well-beings at all times

  • Plan and conduct Centre’s festive celebrations, holiday activities and enrichment lessons

  • Maintain regular communication with parents on their child’s academic progress and behavioural management

  • Routine operational duties


Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level with preferably 1 year of relevant work experience

  • Able to handle all four subjects of English, Chinese, Mathematics and Science will be an advantage

  • Team player with strong passion and patience in guiding / teaching children

  • Organised and able to multi-task

  • Good in Microsoft Office (Words, PowerPoint) advantageous

  • Retired teachers are welcome to apply
