Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for 1 x Student Care Teacher for our centre at Ang Mo Kio. Experienced candidate can be considered for a lead teacher or senior teacher position.

Responsibilities
  • Inspire Learning: Supervise students in homework and academics (Math, English, Science and / or Chinese) while fostering curiosity and confidence.
  • Create Joyful Experiences: Plan and lead engaging daily activities, exciting field trips, and fun holiday programmes.
  • Ensure Safety and Well-Being: Safely fetch students, oversee meals, nap times (lower primary), and timely dismissal while maintaining a secure, clean environment.
  • Support Development: Guide students with care, track attendance, and provide assistance for those facing challenges, working closely with the Centre Supervisor.
  • Set the Stage for Success: Create and maintain an organized, welcoming classroom with quality resources for learning and play.
  • Collaborate and Grow: Participate in centre operations, events, and inter-departmental initiatives to make a lasting impact.
Requirements
  • Min. O Level, Higher Nitec or Diploma (in any discipline)
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in a Community Based Student Care
  • Familiarity with the Primary School syllabus is an added advantage
  • A proactive, independent mindset with a passion for working with children and solving classroom challenges.
