Job summary

FunWorks Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Student Care Teacher (Bilingual Chinese with Experience) to join our Singapore team.

You will develop engaging lesson plans, provide academic support, and lead enrichment activities for primary school students across our six campuses. We expect at least 2 years of teaching or related experience and a certification in education or child development. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required, along with collaborative teamwork and a passion for helping children

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for primary school students.
• Provide academic support to help students achieve learning goals.
• Organise and lead enrichment activities (arts, crafts, sports) for well-rounded development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, nurturing environment for students.
• Communicate with parents/guardians to provide progress updates.
• Collaborate with the team to improve the student care programme.

About the role
Join our vibrant team at FunWorks Pte. Ltd. as a Student Care Teacher (Bilingual Chinese with Experience) and help shape the futures of young minds in Singapore. This full-time role is based in Singapore, and you will play a crucial part in providing engaging educational and enrichment activities for primary school students.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of primary school students

• Provide academic support and guidance to help students achieve their learning goals

• Organise and lead enrichment activities, such as arts, crafts, and sports, to foster well-rounded development

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for students

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress

• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the student care programme

What we're looking for

• A Certification in education, child development, or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience teaching or working with primary school students

• Proficiency in both English and Chinese languages to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

• Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping children learn and grow

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in primary education
