About the role

Join the dynamic team at Pro-Teach Education Group as a Student Care Teacher. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to primary school students in the West Region.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver a range of age-appropriate activities and programs to support the social, emotional, and academic development of primary school students

• Assist with school homework and provide academic tutoring to students

• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting the wellbeing and holistic growth of each child

• Collaborate with parents and management team to support student progress and address any concerns

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for students

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 1 year's experience working as a tutor, student care or child care teacher.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

• Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Passionate about working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development

• Proficient in lesson planning, behaviour management, and creating engaging learning experiences
