Job summary

LITTLE STARS ACADEMY in Singapore invites a proactive individual to join our After-School Student Care team. You will plan and oversee all programmes, coordinate activities and facilities, and step in for teachers when needed.

You will maintain close rapport with parents, motivate a small team, and ensure holistic care and progress updates for students. The role requires good communication, leadership, and a nurturing approach, with a minimum GCE O-Level and a willingness to develop engaging

Responsibilities

• Oversee afterschool programmes, activities and facilities.
• Manage classroom operations when teachers are away.
• Plan and conduct social and recreational activities and holiday programmes.
• Maintain rapport with parents on progress and wellbeing.
• Motivate and coordinate team to meet standards.
• Work with teachers, cook, and cleaners to achieve excellence.

• Candidate should possess some knowledge of Primary School level subjects.
• Meticulous in checking the children’s daily worksheets and curriculum.
• Able to plan, coordinate and oversee all the programmes, activities and facilities required for the provision of holistic AfterSchool Student Care Service.
• Able to take over classroom management as and when any teacher is away on vacation or sick leave.
• Able to plan and conduct social, recreational activities and arrange school holiday programmes for students.
• Maintain close rapport with the parents to keep them informed of their children’s progress/wellbeing.
• Motivate and work with the team (teachers, cook, cleaner) towards achieving excellence and meeting key performance standards.
• Preferably with working experience in the related field.
