We’re Hiring: Islandwide AdHoc Relief Teachers!

Looking for a meaningful and flexible part-time role? Join us as a Adhoc Relief Teacher across our centres islandwide, supporting our after-school care programmes.

Our relief team plays an important role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment for students when regular staff are unavailable. Assignments are offered based on your availability - simply accept those that suit your schedule.

Job Responsibilities (Relief Teachers):

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students in your care
  • Uphold a positive and respectful classroom environment
  • Escort students safely from nearby schools to the centre
  • Guide and support students in completing their daily homework
  • Provide basic academic assistance and encourage independent learning
  • Support the Centre Head in daily routines and any ad-hoc duties

Important things to note:

  • Dress code: Smart casual (no shorts); visible tattoos must be covered
  • All relief staff are expected to maintain professionalism and uphold the values of the centre at all times

Job Requirements (Relief Teachers):

  • Experience working with children is preferred (e.g. enrichment classes, tutoring, or student care)
  • Comfort and confidence in engaging with primary school-aged children
  • A nurturing, dependable, and responsible personality
  • Familiarity with local curriculum to assist students effectively
