Who We are looking for
We are seeking passionate individuals with a genuine commitment to children’s well-being. Ideal candidates will be responsible, independent, and resilient, with qualities that foster a supportive learning environment. Candidates will have the following traits:
- A passion for working with and mentoring primary school children.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Patient, cheerful, responsible, resourceful, and motivated.
- Strong proficiency in Primary School English, Mathematics, and Science.
- A team player with IT proficiency (Microsoft Office for planning and parent communication via email or school apps).
- Prior experience working with children is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to guide students in Chinese homework is a strong plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Escort children safely from nearby schools to the student care centre.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and disciplined classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Guide and supervise children to complete their homework and spelling practice in a small group setting.
- Plan and execute engaging holiday and enrichment programs (e.g., arts & crafts, educational games, and field trips).
- Build positive and open relationships with parents through regular updates on their child's progress.
- Maintain student records, including attendance and incident reports.
Work Schedule
- Part-Time (Choa Chu Kang): Monday – Friday, 12:30 PM – 7:00 PM (Working hours may be adjusted during school holidays to support full-day programs.)
