STUDENT CARE ASSISTANT - PART TIME

Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is an advantage.

  • Basic first aid certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising students during daily activities, including homework time, meals, and playtime.
  • Ensure students' safety and well-being by maintaining a safe and structured environment.
  • Provide assistance to students in completing homework and other educational tasks.
  • Support the execution of enrichment activities, including games, arts and crafts, and educational programs.
  • Engage students in group and individual activities to promote social and emotional development.
  • Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies and promote positive student behaviour.
  • Help address minor behavioural issues in alignment with the centre’s guidelines.
  • Communicate with parents during drop-off and pick-up times, providing brief updates on their child’s progress and activities.
  • Assist the Student Care Supervisor in coordinating information between parents, students, and staff.
  • Help prepare and organize snacks, materials, and resources needed for daily activities.
  • Ensure the student care area is clean and well-maintained at all times.
  • Support the team in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Observe and report any incidents, accidents, or injuries to the Student Care Supervisor promptly.
  • Assist in completing necessary incident reports and documentation.
