Job summary
Caterpillar Singapore seeks a Business Development Representative specializing in Structured Finance to support retail and inventory financing initiatives. You will work with dealers, customers, and field teams to propose and implement financing tools and strategies that strengthen cash flow and drive equipment sales.
The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across Africa, the Middle East, Eurasia, Asia (excluding Japan), and LATAM regions, with a focus on growth markets and customer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- Fluent English; experience with customers, dealers, and cross-functional teams is a plus.
- Strong ability to translate customer needs into actionable financing solutions.
- Experience in structured, dealer, retail, asset, or trade finance is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Identify financing needs with dealers and customers to design solutions.
- Develop customized financing programs for growth markets.
- Assess market dynamics to recommend appropriate retail and dealer financing products.
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers and customers to enable growth.
- Lead onboarding and execution of new cashflow initiatives and financing programs.
- Collaborate across commercial, finance, legal, compliance, and regional teams.
