Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop structural designs and calculations for buildings, foundations, and other infrastructure.

  • Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and constructability.

  • Perform site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and structural integrity.

  • Provide technical guidance and solutions to site engineers and construction teams.

  • Coordinate with architects, M&E engineers, and contractors throughout project lifecycle.

  • Evaluate and select appropriate construction materials based on load, durability, and cost.

  • Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

  • Prepare structural reports, method statements, and engineering documentation.

  • Participate in value engineering, risk assessment, and quality assurance processes.

  • Troubleshoot structural issues during construction and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent

  • Proficient in structural design software

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

  • 4 years of relevant experience in structural design and construction
