Job summary

A leading company in drilling services seeks a Bar Bend Scheduler to manage rebar quantities and scheduling. This position requires knowledge in AutoCAD, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to read structural drawings. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing material wastage efficiently. Relevant qualifications and at least 1-2 years of experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a Bar Bend Scheduler.
• Must have the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Willingness to travel around project sites within Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Handle quantities, shapes, sizes, and locations of rods from drawings.
• Prepare cutting list schedule and perform planning in rebar schedule.
• Compile material wastage summary and generate monthly reports.

Job description

Handle and determine the quantities, shapes and sizes and location of the rods from the drawings and sketches

Prepare the cutting list schedule depending on the design specs

Perform advance planning in rebar schedule per area

Perform quantity of steel material needed for the design execution

Can read structural drawing in preparing rebar's quantity

Compile and prepare material wastage summary

Control and minimize material wastages

Generation of monthly report

Other adhoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor/management

Must have knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Ofiice

Candidate must complete at least Higher secondary/Pr-U/A level/College

At least 1-2 years’ bar bend scheduler experience

Willing to travel aroung project sites offices within Singapore

Able to work independently and cope in a fast-paced environment Chinese/English Language (both writing & reading) is needed to liaise with associates in related to job matters
