Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Experienced Structural Steel Detailer to join their team. This role focuses on detailed shop drawing preparation, technical liaising with project stakeholders, and maintaining document control. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in structural steel detailing. Knowledge of Tekla Structures and AutoCAD is essential. Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in structural steel detailing is preferred.
• Knowledge in Structural Steelworks or Equivalent is required.
• Must be willing to work as a team and show work commitment.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and preparation of specifications and plans.
• Liaise with Project Managers and Engineers for technical drawings/review.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings and draft structural drawings.

Job description

• Experienced Structural Steel Detailer with good knowledge of Tekla 3D Modelling
• Well versed in using Tekla Structures or Autodesk advance steel, AutoCAD and Sketch-up software
• Min. 2 - 3 years’ experience (in structural steel detailing is an added advantage)
• Coordination and preparation of specification and plans and to liaise with Project Managers and Engineers for technical drawings and submission approval
• Review and verify drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines
• Maintain good document control and filing
• Able to undertake any other duties assigned Requirement
