Job summary

SRN Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Site Engineer to interpret specifications and drawings, coordinate steelwork shop drawings with the detailer, and ensure alignment with client construction drawings.

You will organize material deliveries, monitor fabrication progress, and liaise with the client's Technical Manager to resolve technical issues on site. The role requires close collaboration with the Project Site Engineer and Production Department to meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Interprets specifications, drawings, plans and checks all steelwork shop drawings done by the structural detailer if in accordance to client’s construction drawing prior to submission
• Organizes and directs the delivery of construction materials and establishing detailed programs and schedule of site activities
• Check the construction drawings if feasible for erection on site and work closely with the structural detailer for any proposal if needed
• Records and monitors design changes and assess their cost impact for the project’s contract sum and coordinate with the Contract Department
• Liaises with the client’s Technical Manager for all engineering and technical matters focusing structural discipline
• Responsible for coordinating with the Project Site Engineer for any site related technical issues
• Monitors the fabrication progress and coordinate closely to Production Department to meet the required schedule and report it to the client
