Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Naval Architecture or Structural Engineering.
  • Proven track record in offshore structural engineering for oil & gas facilities (FPSO, semi-submersibles, fixed platforms, topsides).
  • Strong familiarity with international offshore standards and codes (API RP-2A, ISO 19901, DNV, ABS, etc.).
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written). Ability to communicate in Mandarin is highly desirable, to support collaboration with design centers, shipyards, and vendors in China.
  • Prior experience working with Middle East clients or projects (e.g., ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, Qatar Energy, KOC) will be considered a strong advantage.

Geotechnical & Foundation Engineer
  • Strong foundation in geotechnical and foundation engineering for offshore platforms (jackets, topsides, subsea foundations, piles, suction caissons, etc.).
  • Skilled in GRLWEAP, SACS, and AutoCAD, with experience in pile drivability, bearing capacity analysis, and foundation design.
  • Knowledge of soil-structure interaction, settlement analysis, and geohazard assessment in offshore conditions.
Requirements
  • Highly prefer candidates with structural design and offshore engineering experience, with leadership responsibility on large-scale EPC or FEED projects.
  • Minimum 10 years of offshore oil & gas engineering experience, with hands-on design and analysis exposure.
  • Prior exposure to international EPC contractors, shipyards, or joint venture projects is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the structural/geotechnical discipline scope within offshore projects, acting as focal point for communication, design coordination, and technical leadership.
  • Define, review, and validate the scope of work, design basis, and technical requirements for assigned packages.
  • Participate in technical clarifications with clients and vendors, and prepare proposals, reports, and presentations.
  • Carry out and supervise design, review, and approval of structural/geotechnical deliverables, ensuring compliance with client standards and international codes.

  • Preparation of discipline-specific requisitions and specifications.
  • Vendor document reviews and bid clarifications.
  • FAT/inspection support and technical evaluation of suppliers.
  • Lead and review structural calculations (global strength, fatigue, ultimate strength, foundation capacity, etc.) and prepare discipline reports.
  • Provide technical support during fabrication and construction, including site visits, troubleshooting, and method statement reviews.
  • Ensure HSE compliance and quality standards are embedded in all deliverables and construction support.
  • Mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and ensure knowledge transfer within the discipline team.
