Job summary

ROTATING OFFSHORE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to perform global analyses of offshore structures and detailed design of primary, secondary, and tertiary steel elements, including equipment supports and access platforms.

The role requires proficiency in SACS and STAAD PRO, with 4–10 years of experience in offshore design, including FPSO modules and fixed structures. You will coordinate with clients and suppliers and mentor junior engineers on technical matters.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering required.
• 4–10 years of experience with SACS and STAAD PRO.
• Experience designing FPSO modules and offshore structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform global analyses of offshore structures and detailed design of primary, secondary, and tertiary steel elements, including equipment supports and access platforms.
• Prepare Spreader bar, sling and shackles calculations.
• Prepare Weight and COG reports.
• Coordinate with inter-disciplines, clients and suppliers.
• Support project teams during execution and mentor junior engineers.

Title: Structural Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Responsiblefor performing global analyses of offshore structures, carrying out detaileddesign of primary nodes, detailed design of secondary and tertiary steelincluding equipment supports, access platforms, material handling structures,monorails, stair towers, etc. and compiling design reports
• Performstructural engineering to design technically sound and cost-effective solutionsfor offshore and onshore oil & gas applications.
• Preparationof Spreader bar, sling and shackles calculation.
• Preparationof Weight control report and C.O.G report.
• Coordinates work withinter-disciplines, client and supplier
• Supportproject and production teams in technical matters during execution phase
• Train & Mentor fresh engineers and juniorengineers.

Job Requirements

• Degree inCivil / Structural Engineering
• Minimum 4to 10 years of experience with good proficiency in SACS and STAAD PRO Software
• Experience in design of FPSO modules, Structural Skid and fixedoffshore structures
• Must have good knowledge of offshore analysis software SACS andSTAAD PRO
• Must have good knowledge of latest revisions of offshore designcodes such as ISO 19901-3, ISO 19902, AISC-360 and applicable API and DNV codes
